One does not accumulate but eliminate. It is not daily increase but daily decrease. The height of cultivation always runs to simplicity.

Cool, it automatically reminded me of George Carlins piece ‘my stuff’.
Sayings like Bruce Lee and others are truly great - I think why we fail to have them applied to our life is because when we come across a quote like this, we dont take it and try to make it a part of our waking life. (Its easier to bulldoze through a day forgetting all the ‘good stuff’ we know and then at the end of the day to read a quote or two and get spiritual. -Im talking from my own experience, anyway. ;)
But take a quote like this, and consciously apply it to your life - or in the day as you speak and act see how it applies to what is going on, and one will be surprised at how it can subtly, yet effectively, make a positive change in your life.
For the most part I believe why we dont do this is out of pure laziness…which may come from disbelief that true change can happen by taking a quote like this and really trying to apply it when your in the mode of ‘accumulating’. (Got to learn to be present to see what your doing…) :)
Anyway - this reply is far from simple…so I will take Bruce’s advice and stop while Im ahead. ;)
Thanks for the quote.
