Mac OS X Leopard Delayed for iPhone? Yeah, right.

Mac users, whether casual or fanatic, aren’t taking the bad news sitting down. When Apple Inc. announced Thursday that it will delay the release of Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard” by four months because of the iPhone, Apple users spoke out. Personally, I think the bug list for OSX was longer than Apple cared to admit.

    even if this is true the final product will not have all the bugs that vista has and apple will put out a finished product. which is best on time and bugs or a completed operating system.

  2. Wayne, I agree, it is better to have a completed (bug free) product. Did you read iPhone iGnorance? My contention is that the iPhone has either become a distraction or excuse for the release of Leopard. If the former, I persoanlly do not see iPhone as a need to delay OSX. If the latter, that is bad business to make excuses. Just say it like it is and your users/consumers will respect you for it.
